Watsup Ian, you've tought me a few spanish classes during my education in Lake Oswego.. I'm finishing my freshman year at U of Oregon right now..

A response to #7...
I've spent a total of 3 months time in Panama. The people of Panama have changed my life in ways i'm still figuring out. When I do go there I go to a little piece of paradise called La Mata Arriba. Its a small community of about 40 families. Most men work in cane fields and many have their own plots of land with rice, yuka, cows, cane etc. not for commercial use but to support their families directly. Anyways.. If you are going to walk through Panama (consider going late july to find yourself in patronales season if you do) the people of La Mata Arriba would be happy to let you stay with them for a few nights.

I just want to say that I aspire to have the understanding of the world and its cultures as much as you do. As joe dirt would say, keep on keepin on

-Alan
ps. I still haven't had a better spanish teacher
