I’ve been following your progress through South America (I was also travelling through most of those places you mentioned for the first half of 2005). I’m also now finding myself stuck in a routine in the grumbling monster that is London while I try to earn enough to ‘get back out there’. Also faced with a crumbled ‘Us’ that I am trying hopelessly to resurrect.

It’s all moments of caged misery mixed with blazing realisations of what a boundlessly lucky and privileged person I am. ‘Why am I so selfish’ – I ask myself that many times as well.

Anyways – just wanted to say that I find your perspective articulates some things for me that I haven’t been able to figure out for myself.
