I&#039;ve been following your progress through South America (I was also travelling through most of those places you mentioned for the first half of 2005).  I&#039;m also now finding myself stuck in a routine in the grumbling monster that is London while I try to earn enough to &#039;get back out there&#039;.  Also faced with a crumbled &#039;Us&#039; that I am trying hopelessly to resurrect.

It&#039;s all moments of caged misery mixed with blazing realisations of what a boundlessly lucky and privileged person I am. &#039;Why am I so selfish&#039; - I ask myself that many times as well.

Anyways - just wanted to say that I find your perspective articulates some things for me that I haven&#039;t been able to figure out for myself.
